The racing car Lightning McQueen is on his way to the Piston Cup when he falls out of the transporter and gets lost in the small, sleepy desert town of Radiator Springs. He causes a huge mess that he has to clean up before he can continue his journey. Annoyed, he sets to work and wants to get out of this sleepy little town as quickly as possible. But he soon realises that Radiator Springs and its inhabitants have more to offer than he thought.
