Why
was Dory alone in the sea when she met Marlin? Where did she come from and why did she speak Welsh so well? The forgetful pallet doctor fish can't remember anything and has even forgotten his parents. Until an accident brings back a childhood memory. Now Dory only wants one thing: to find her parents again! Together with Marlin and Nemo, she sets off on a journey to a marine biology institute on the coast of California. There she is fished out of the water and separated from her friends. Alone, she ends up in an aquarium at the institute. But she makes a new friend, the octopus Hank, and meets an old friend, the whale shark Destiny, while Marlin and Nemo follow their friend down unusual paths ...
