Mika is furious. Because she didn't make it to the next class and, on top of that, accidentally torched her teacher's car with her friend, she has to spend the summer studying - at her strict grandmother's horse stud, of all places. But in the darkest stall of the stables she finds the wild and shy stallion Ostwind, who neither the best show jumper on the farm nor Mika's grandmother can tame. This is the beginning of an unusual friendship, as Mika discovers her very special gift: she speaks the language of horses! Will she manage - against all odds - to tame Ostwind?
