Description

The son of the eagle:

It has been raining cats and dogs for days. The Sioux sit in their tipis and wait for the storm to end. The shaman tells the legend of how the Sioux came into the world in the fight against the demon of water. Suddenly Yakari collapses, he has a high temperature and begins to fantasise.

Yakari and the giant wolverine:

It is deep winter, food supplies are scarce and the Sioux tribe is happy when Yakari's father, Boldface, returns home with a killed wapiti. But Kühner Blick reports that this hunt was no heroic deed. The animal ran straight towards him in panic, as if it were being chased. The next morning, the new meat supplies have been stolen ...

Yakari and the horse thieves:

Yakari, Little Badger and Rainbow are out riding their ponies when two Mohawks suddenly appear and claim that Big Grey, Rainbow's pony, belongs to them. Of course, that's not true at all. It was Little Thunder who brought the injured pony to the Sioux some time ago. There, Big Grey was nursed back to health and stayed with the tribe.

Yakari and Big Eagle:

Yakari and his friend Little Badger would love to go out with the hunters of their Sioux tribe to capture wild horses, especially where they are now targeting the wildest and most beautiful of them all: Little Thunder. Spitzer Pfeil almost succeeds in catching Little Thunder with his lasso, but the horse is too clever and escapes.
